President Johnathan's Meeting With Present And Past Leaders

 Past Nigerian leaders in attendance at the meeting includes president elect Gen Muhammadu Buhari, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar and Chief Ernest Shonekan.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo who is also present at the meeting came 40 minutes late. He got their 12.10pm when the meeting started 11.30.

Past Nigerian leaders including president-elect Gen. Buhari, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Gen Ibrahim Babangida, Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Chief Ernest Shonekan attended today's Council of State meeting which is President Jonathan's last as a president.


State Governors of Ogun, Ondo, Sokoto, Rivers, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Benue, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Zamfara, Niger, Plateau, Cross River and Taraba State are also present at the meeting while Deputy governors of Kano, Kogi, Oyo and Yobe States represented their state governors.

Senate President David Mark, Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal and former Chief Justices of Nigeria including Muhammadu Uwais, Alfa Belgore and Idris Kutigi are also present at the meeting.
