Kris Jenner opens up about ex husband Bruce Jenner's gender transition

Kris Jenner has opened up about ex husband Bruce Jenner's  gender transition on an upcoming episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians.Kris tells daughter Kim she is struggling to reconcile her memories of Bruce, 65, before and after his transition.

In a clip released exclusively to the US Today show,
"I have these memories of this life and I feel, sometimes, like it didn't exist," Kris, 59, said.
Bruce Jenner announced he identified as a woman in a televised interview with Diane Sawyer last month....

"Kim has been,  the most accepting and the easiest to talk to about it," he said, adding that her husband,  Kanye West, had helped her to understand why expressing his identity in this way was so important.
According to Bruce, Kanye told his wife, "I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I'm nothing if I can't be me. If I can't be true to myself they don't mean anything."

Kim said
"I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself and I know it's not something that you or I could ever fully understand, but I don't even think we have to," she told Today host Matt Lauer on Monday last week.

"As long as he is happy, and he wants to live his life however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy and I support him 100 per cent."
However, Kim also acknowledged that it had been a difficult adjustment for her family.
"We all really support him. Is it a hard adjustment? Yes."
The conversation between Kim and Kris was a teaser from a two-part special of the family's reality television show Keeping up with the Kardashians.

The special, scheduled to air on May 17 and 18 in the US, will document each family member's reaction to the news that Bruce identifies as a woman.
An eight-part documentary about Bruce's transition has also been planned.
